All Set for tomorrow

Category : 4WD Trips

Good to go for tomorrow. The Jeep is packed with the gear stowed and tied down. It’s kind of like a game of Tetris to get everything to fit 🙂
The cherry on top was a test run of the Sand Safety Flag. The flag is mandatory when travelling in the Simpson.
Well be meeting the other guys from the 4WD Club at Innamincka S.A. on Monday evening.

5 Days out from the Simpson Desert trip

Category : 4WD Trips

Its now five days to go before we leave on our Simpson Desert adventure.

Things are starting to get serious with all major tasks completed.
Over the past few months (9 to be exact) the jeep has been transformed from the stock standard Grand Cherokee to one that is starting to look the part as a serious off road vehicle.

External additions have included;
Bullbar, Winch, Underbody Protection, UHF Radio, Awning, Rock Sliders, Roof Rack, Snorkel and Off Road Wheels and Tyres.

Over the past week or so, major changes have occurred on the inside as well!

I’ll go through these additions/subtractions in more detail later
